There are thousands of wonderful photos at Flickr. To see some of these have a look.

You can see my Flickr photos here. Try searching using one of my tags. My 20 megabyte free upload limit allowed me to upload 67 photos in April which is good for a free site. As you can see the photos display at reasonable resolution.  I am now a Pro member which means I have paid a USD25 annual subscription which lets me upload as many photos as I like plus create as many sets as I wish.

Displaying Flickr photos on a website or web page using an HTML flickr 'badge'or a Flash badge: both viewable here but for  Flickr members link only

Process involves 4 steps: (1)Selecting Badge (2)Selecting photos (3) Selecting colours (4) Copying the generated code to paste onto web page.

Guest Passes:

Flickr information on Guest Passes Here  You use Guest Passes to give someone temporary access to your private photos.

How it works:

  1. Create a set including the private (and maybe other) photos you want to share with a non-Flickr member.
  2. Click to edit the set you want to issue a guest pass to.
  3. Click on open set page
  4. Click on Share this set
  5. You can have Flickr send the link - Enter the email addresses for those you are inviting; Edit the email if you wish; Decide about granting access to other private photos.  Flickr will then send the email with a weblink which anyone who knows it can access the set and your other private photos if you have ticked to permit this.
  6. Alternatively: Click on the Send the link yourself tab: In this case the link will be sent to your email address and you can share it with people you wish to.

(To share public photos, simply share with that person the URL for your flickr account.  This is the same way you do a public link on a website to your photos - gives access to all your public photos.)
