My Digital Camera My first digital camera was a Canon G5 purchased in 2004. You can see images taken with the G5 at Yaruman5's Photos . It burnt out in mid-2006 after taking around 10,000 images. Repair was estimated at around AUD500 so I decided to purchase another Canon or a Panasonic Lumix camera. The choice came down to the S3is or the Z50. I decided on the S3is even though I believed the Z50 would provide better colour accuracy and sharper images. The S3is is more compact - easier to have with you and fairly close in specs. I have not yet (July 06) taken delivery of the S3is.
